In '93 & '95 Perpetual Motion Theatre presented two festivals
of contemporary independant Russian Theatre at the Watermans Arts
Centre, London and collaborated with St. Petersburg physical theatre
troupe "Terramobile" both in Russia & Britain on a project
exploring the rise of new fascism called "Kiosk Man" in '99.The company
has developed long term links with the Russian Federation in particular
performing at the Moscow Arts Theatre, The Volgograd festival of new
movement (winning first prize), The Prologue of the Wheel in St.
Petersburg's "Baltiski Dom" & touring all over the former Soviet
Union with four new productions.
In 1999 the company established an exchange project with Seoul's
leading avent garde theatre troup Oh Taesuk's "Mowkha Company" in South
Korea, and has since been touring all over the UK, New York, Germany,
Spain, Korea, Egypt, Moldova & the Ukraine.
